McConnell Remains Unable to Return to Senate Since June 14 Fall, Capitol Physician Says

According to the U.S. Capitol physician, Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky remains unable to return to work since falling at home on June 14. The 84-year-old senator is currently receiving treatment at a rehabilitation facility and has not received medical clearance to leave. McConnell stated he is undergoing intensive physical therapy under medical guidance to attempt recovery and resumption of his full Senate and Kentucky duties.
