According to Bloomberg, Meta confirmed last Wednesday that it is developing a cloud business to offer access to AI models or raw computing power. Shares of the Facebook and Instagram parent soared nearly 9% on the news. The company also raised its fiscal 2026 capital expenditure guidance to between $125 billion and $145 billion, up from the prior range of $115 billion to $135 billion, signaling major infrastructure investment to support AI infrastructure buildout.
