Poolin Technology, the Singapore-based firm that once ran one of Bitcoin's largest mining pools, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on July 22 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. The company holds roughly $163.7 million in obligations to approximately 11,700 wallet holders stemming from a September 2022 freeze on Poolin Wallet and Pool Account withdrawals. To recover funds, Poolin is auctioning its two West Texas mining sites, with Thor CALAP LLC offering a $52 million opening bid.
