Rubio Describes 60-Day Iran Sanctions Waiver as 'Temporary Measure,' Warns of Options If Commitments Not Met

According to Jin10, U.S. Secretary of State Rubio described a 60-day sanctions waiver for Iran as a "temporary measure" on June 25, emphasizing that Tehran must honor its commitments under a recent agreement.

Rubio stated that if Iran fails to keep its promises, President Trump has multiple options available, including the possibility of restoring sanctions. "They made very clear commitments in Switzerland, and the President has made it clear they must honor those commitments," Rubio said. "If they do, we will proceed; if not, the President will have various options to respond."
