S&P 500 Futures Rise 0.44% on July 6 Amid Semiconductor Sector Weakness

According to Yonhapinfomax, on July 6, U.S. equity index futures advanced despite semiconductor sector adjustments. E-mini S&P 500 futures traded at 7,562.25, up 0.44%, while E-mini Nasdaq 100 rose 1.11% to 29,885.00. The gains followed a week in which major U.S. indices posted gains: the Dow Jones Industrial Average reached a record high with a 2% weekly increase, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite each climbed 1.8% and 2.1% respectively. The Semiconductor ETF (SMH) fell 3.2% during the same period, recording its second consecutive week of losses.
