Spot Gold Falls 0.18% to $4,008.98 on June 30; Silver Gains 0.62%

On June 30, spot gold fell 0.18% to $4,008.98 per ounce, while spot silver rose 0.62% to $58.62 per ounce. Gold declined 10.65% for the month and 14.31% for the second quarter, retreating from its all-time high of $5,595.47 reached on January 29. Silver dropped 21.71% in June and 19.74% in Q2, having peaked at $121.65 on January 29.
