According to Visa's Allium-powered dashboard, stablecoin market supply contracted by $7.7 billion in June 2026, declining to approximately $312 billion and marking the sharpest monthly drop since the Terra-Luna collapse in 2022. Despite the supply decline, transaction volume surged to a record $1.79 trillion in June, up 63% from May, according to the same data source. USDC processed $1.21 trillion in transfers during the month — more than double USDT's $576 billion — despite having significantly smaller circulating supply. Both USDC and USDT maintained their $1 peg throughout June with no depeg events reported.
