Tether Freezes 131 ISIS-K-Linked TRON Addresses After U.S. Sanctions Update on July 1

According to Chainalysis and U.S. Treasury reports, Tether froze USDT balances across 131 TRON addresses linked to ISIS-K on July 1 following the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control adding the wallets to a counter-terrorism blacklist. The sanctioned addresses had received more than $1.4 million since 2023 and sent more than $880,000, according to blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis.
