According to Trust Wallet's official announcement, the platform has integrated Robinhood Chain into its mobile app and browser extension, enabling users to manage assets on the Ethereum-compatible Layer-2 network with full self-custody control. Users can now send, receive, store, and swap digital tokens issued on Robinhood Chain while retaining total control of their private keys.
The integration significantly reduces transaction costs by processing transactions off-chain and bundling them into compressed summaries submitted to Ethereum, slashing individual fees to fractions of a cent and accelerating confirmation speeds. Robinhood co-founder and CEO Vlad Tenev noted that while the network is designed as the best chain for real-world assets, it also functions effectively for meme tokens. Trust Wallet users must update to the latest app version to access the new features, which include home-screen shortcuts for deposits, withdrawals, and asset swaps.
