Ukraine Launches 625-Drone Attack on Russian Territory; Russia Intercepts 613, Retaliates with Airstrikes

According to Russia's Defense Ministry statement on July 6, Ukrainian forces launched a large-scale drone attack with 625 unmanned aircraft on Russian territory from the evening of July 5 to July 6, targeting civilian fuel and energy infrastructure in Leningrad, Bryansk, Belgorod, and Yaroslavl regions. Russia intercepted 613 of the drones and responded on July 6 with major airstrikes on Ukraine, focusing on military-industrial facilities, fuel and energy infrastructure near Kyiv.

Meanwhile, Saldo, the Russian-appointed administrator of Kherson region, reported on social media that Ukrainian forces conducted drone attacks on Kherson from July 4 to July 6, resulting in 2 deaths and 15 injuries.
