U.S. Envoys Witcoff and Kushner Arrive in Doha, Won't Meet Iranian Officials as $6B Frozen Assets Remain Unfrozen

According to Qatar's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, U.S. envoy Steven Witcoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner arrived in Doha on June 30 but will not hold direct talks with Iranian officials. The two are scheduled to meet with mediators to discuss negotiation progress. The spokesperson also confirmed that the $6 billion in frozen Iranian assets have not been transferred to Tehran.
