Venezuela's Death Toll From Recent Earthquakes Rises to 3,342 on July 5

According to Venezuela's National Assembly president Jorge Rodriguez on July 5, two recent earthquakes in the country have killed 3,342 people and injured 16,740. Official statistics show 6,462 people have been rescued so far, while 17,345 remain homeless. Since the major quake struck on June 24, authorities have recorded 995 aftershocks.
