According to Guru Club, WTI crude oil fell 8.2% to approximately $81.96 per barrel on July 28, marking the largest single-day decline in two months. Brent crude also dropped to around $89.

U.S. President Trump announced a pause on airstrikes against Iran to allow room for negotiations. In parallel, Iran signaled restraint in its retaliation and opened consultations with Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
