Yuhan-Kimberly Shares Rise 4.9% After Announcing 425.3 Billion Won Buyback on July 24

According to Yonhap Infomax, Yuhan-Kimberly announced on July 24 it will repurchase and retire 425.3 billion won worth of treasury shares, with shares rising 4.9% to 74,900 Korean won. The buyback covers 6.03 million ordinary shares and 32,600 preferred shares, representing 7.57% of outstanding ordinary shares—significantly larger than the company's previous plan to retire 1% annually through next year. The retirement is scheduled for July 31.
