solana is the house of spot

thing about rfq vs clobs is that underneath it’s all going through clobs anyway
a dapp using rfq has a market maker (ideally internal or closely aligned) quoting at all times, but they are ultimately hedging flows on a clob
rfq is particularly useful when you want to know the counterparty facing you. but if you don’t care about that, clobs do the job

personally i like the majority of perp dex teams on solana, whether their engines are onchain or off chain
phoenix guys are great. they built one of the best propamms in the space and are brilliant quants
pacifica are ingenious pulling strong volumes, implemented tap to trade and are working on cool options stuff
bulk lads are eyeing more arcane markets and i am told are cooking
bullet, gmt etc are all solid guys as well
either way solana will be upgraded within 12 months and they can bring the majority of their architecture onchain.
until then, lets just ship as many cool products as possi

the ethena deployment on solana is about more than just ethena
by end of this year, a lot of stablecoin liquidity will flow from other chains to solana as the chain matures and is trusted by large projects
i think we'll add 3-5B in DeFi TVL easily this year

the point of a blockchain foundation is help the blockchain grow market share
doing nothing and acting neutral is the worst
