TAO is back on trader radars after Michaël van de Poppe pointed out that the token is starting to look interesting again. The big picture is fairly straightforward.
The halving is already behind us, the TAO price went through a rough correction afterward, and now the chart is showing early signs of stabilization. The main level to watch is the $250–$260 zone, which is acting as the line between recovery and another leg lower.
Looking at the daily chart, it appears to be a more relaxed scenario compared to a few weeks ago. The heavy selling pressure is not as visible as it used to be, and prices appear to be trending in a more organized manner.

TAO Finally Finds Support After the Selloff
The TAO price pullback from the highs was not a small one. After topping out near the $470–$500 area, the price rolled over and spent weeks trending lower.
Early attempts to bounce did not hold, and sellers stayed in control until TAO reached a higher timeframe support zone.

That zone, highlighted by Michaël in green on the chart, is where things began to change. The TAO price stopped making lower lows and started holding its ground.
You can also see heavier volume during the drop, which often points to forced selling. Once that pressure eased, TAO was able to stabilize and start building a base.

Why This Reclaim Matters
One of the more important developments is TAO moving back above the 21-day moving average. This level often acts as a simple trend filter.
When price stays below it, rallies tend to fade. When price gets back above it and holds, the market usually shifts into a slow grind higher rather than continued downside.
TAO is also working to hold above the old support level around $262. This is the area that needs to act as a floor now. If pullbacks continue to get bought in this zone, it supports the idea that the market is trying to flip previous resistance back into support.
What Comes Next on the TAO Chart
Momentum is starting to improve, which shows up in the RSI pushing higher from oversold conditions. That lines up well with price reclaiming key levels and forming higher lows.
As long as the TAO price holds the $250–$260 range, the path opens toward the $300–$325 area first, with much heavier resistance sitting closer to $470.
If momentum continues to build, a move back toward $500 over the coming months stays on the table. If support fails, though, the recovery story gets put on pause.

Mega Financial states "Banks are more cost-effective than stablecoins," sparking controversy; experimental design is biased
Chairman Dong Rui-bin of Mega Financial Holding's experimental conclusion that bank costs are lower than stablecoins for remittances exceeding $7,000 has sparked widespread criticism in Taiwan's crypto community. Critics pointed out that the experimental design was unfair, incorporating unnecessary exchange costs, making the comparison unequal. Financial researcher Yu Zhe-an analyzed that this may reflect the influence of institutional bias on the research. For users actually using stablecoins, the advantages of banks are not as significant as the experiment suggests.

Options traders bet on Bitcoin returning to 80,000, as CPI inflation stabilizes
Bitcoin has recently stabilized around $70,200, and options market data indicates approximately a 35% chance of breaking above $80,000 before June. The market is hedging against downside risks, with a structural shift showing decreased defensive positioning and increased rebound bets. Bitcoin's role is shifting from a high-risk asset to a hybrid asset, reflecting a change in investor perception.

XRP Today News: XRPL 2.7 million transactions hit a new high, token price diverges from "decoupling"
XRP ledger's daily trading volume reaches 2.7 million transactions, but the XRP token price remains steady at around $1.37, indicating that increased on-chain activity has not led to new capital inflows. Analysis shows that internal transfers within institutions and automated trading account for a high proportion, failing to create strong buying demand. Breaking through $1.61 is the key to future upward momentum, while the long-term target of $100 requires multiple conditions to align, including widespread institutional adoption and an improved market environment.

The United States releases 172 million barrels of strategic oil! Iran warns oil prices could rise to $200
The U.S. Secretary of Energy announced plans to coordinate the release of 400 million barrels of oil to counter Iran's threats, with the release of 172 million barrels being the largest in history. Market reactions to this move are uncertain, and oil prices remain affected by the security situation in the Strait of Hormuz. At the same time, oil price fluctuations will impact the Bitcoin market, potentially increasing inflationary pressures and limiting liquidity. The United States plans to replenish the released oil within a year, which should not have a long-term impact on energy security.
