Odaily Planet Daily reports that according to market sources: some Republican lawmakers are urging the U.S. Treasury Department to buy Bitcoin. It is reported that Senator Cynthia Lummis has suggested to Treasury Secretary Yellen to use the U.S. gold reserves to purchase Bitcoin. She previously proposed this idea to Yellen last year and stated she would support taking action within the scope of existing administrative authority.
