Bybit to Gradually Restrict EEA Users' Access to Bybit Global Services, Affecting 29 Countries

According to Foresight News, Bybit announced recently that access to certain Bybit Global services will be progressively restricted for European Economic Area (EEA) residents as part of ongoing regulatory compliance efforts. Affected users will receive advance notice detailing the timeline for managing existing and new positions, while remaining able to access their custodial assets during the transition.

The 29 affected EEA countries include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden. Bybit EU operates as a regulated platform within the group holding a MiCA license and is seeking additional licensing in Austria.
