Multiple Analysts Raise Q3 DRAM Price Expectations, Predicting 13-20% Gains

According to multiple analysts, DRAM average selling prices (ASP) are expected to rise significantly in the third quarter. Counterpoint forecasts a quarter-on-quarter increase of approximately 20%, while TrendForce projects gains of 13-18% for traditional DRAM and 10-15% for NAND Flash; Morgan Stanley raised its PC DRAM forecast from 3-8% to 15-20%. SK Hynix management further reinforced expectations of prolonged memory supply shortages, with the CEO and chairman stating after the U.S. IPO that memory supply constraints could persist through the 2030s.
