According to TRM Labs, crypto exchange HTX has been rotating hot wallets and funding addresses across TRON, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, and Solana since the UK sanctioned the platform in May 2026. The blockchain intelligence firm said HTX retires addresses every few hours, making static address-based screening largely ineffective. The practice turns the exchange's onchain footprint into a continuous moving target.

In May, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office sanctioned Huobi Global S.A., rebranded as HTX, for allegedly facilitating Russian sanctions evasion. The FCA also began legal proceedings against HTX in February for unlawful financial promotions.
